This relaxed jacket is cut from premium brushed cotton drill by Brisbane Moss, one of Britain’s most respected cloth mills. With a beautifully soft, velvet-like handle, the fabric combines everyday durability with exceptional comfort. Founded in 1858 in Yorkshire’s Calder Valley, Brisbane Moss has been weaving some of Britain’s finest cotton cloth for more than 165 years.
Every jacket is individually handmade in our workshop at 39 Tib Street, Northern Quarter, Manchester.
The clean, relaxed silhouette is complemented by a distinctive chest fastening tab, reinforced with an additional square of cotton behind the button. Rather than stitching the button through a single layer of cloth, this traditional reinforcement distributes stress across the garment, creating a stronger, longer-lasting construction. Each button is individually hand sewn, reflecting the attention to detail found throughout the jacket.
Finished with a hand-signed Jamie Darby woven label, every piece carries the mark of the maker.
